Tips For Using The MILK Jelly Blush

Using the MILK Jelly Blush (or one of it’s dupes) can be very scary because of its high pigmentation and how long it can stain your face for (it’s a blessing and a curse). But here are a few tips that I found to maximize how many uses this product has and how to utilize to be the best it can be.
Application
Most people using this blush tend to apply it directly to their face and try to blend it out using a brush or beauty blender. The problem with this method is that you end up using way too much and it never blends out the way you want it to — it only stays in one spot.
But there are two solutions to this problem, to achieve the perfect blend:
1. Use a blush brush and dab it onto the blush, and use it to apply to your cheek. This gets a more pigmented blend, and is better for a more sun-kissed look.
2. Damp a beauty blender with either a facial spray or water (just make sure that if you use water you spray it on, don’t just put it under a faucet. You want the beauty blender to be damp not wet. Also, putting it directly under a faucet causes it to expand, and raises it’s chances of growing bacteria which would cause you to break out). Dab your damp beauty blender onto the blush and apply it onto your cheek. This creates a more natural look with less pigment.
Different Uses
I promised that I would suggest some other uses for the MILK Jelly Blush that you can use in your makeup routine — so here they are:
• A lip tint. If you lightly apply some onto your lips, it will create the perfect pinkish lip tint that will last all day.
• Eyeshadow. If you take an eyeshadow brush and very lightly dab it onto your blush you can put it on your eyelids to use as an eyeshadow. But be very careful with this one, because a
little bit goes a long way, and if you put too much or mess up, it’ll stain your face all day, so proceed with caution and be sure to start with just a little bit, and if needed add more as you go along.
• Underpainting. If you use a blush brush to put a very pigmented layer on your cheek and apply foundation or powder on top, it can create a sun-kissed look perfect for the summer.
